Three national awards in one year is good going in anyone’s books. Taking a fourth could be seen as being simply greedy. Blumilk is not a business that wants to be perceived as greedy.
Blumilk has won three major UK campaign awards in 2017 – MOMA Awards, DIGI Awards and the Digital Impact Awards. Including the Blumilk campaign for Arriva Rail’s Northern Railways. Blumilk with client Arriva Rail produced the UK’s Best Integrated Marketing Campaign, 2017.
Church Takes Heavenly Spot
At the red carpet, black tie Corporate Comms Awards ceremony, in London on Thursday, 23 November, Blumilk was pipped to the post by no other than the Church of England with its “Joy to the World’ campaign.
The judges clearly had a difficult choice to make. They were faced with a huge number of top-notch campaigns and creative solutions generated for global brands by major UK agencies.
Extra Special Commendation
The Blumilk/Arriva Rail ‘Buy Before You Board’ campaign was picked out by the Awards judges for special commendation.
“We were a bit disappointed to be honest that we were pipped to the post,” says Lauren Hindhaugh, Head of Client Management at Blumilk.
“It softens the blow a bit that the judges singled us out for a special commendation. We got the only special commendation made during an evening which saw a total of 28 industry awards being announced. And, that we beat some big players like Adidas, Virgin Active, Liberty Global and Cache in our category. The guys at Blumilk congratulate CofE and its creative team for a heavenly successful campaign.”
