Blumilk have been tasked to help client Lloyd Motor Group with a promotional campaign to promote the launch of the Mini Upgrade Event. The award winning marketing team at the company have been encouraging Mini customers to upgrade their current model for newer version.
Lloyd MINI has six MINI centres which are in Carlisle, Blackpool, Cockermouth, Colne, Newcastle and South Lakes. With retailers representing other leading automotive brands across the North of England and South of Scotland, this family-owned and run business prides itself on its friendly and professional approach, which has been evident across the organisation since it was founded over four decades ago.
The Creative on this promotional campaign had to be eye catching, confident and aspirational in both visuals and tone. The fresh new look, paired with bold illustrational elements was run throughout the promotional campaign. It has then been rolled out across press ads, email templates, social media adverts, animated GIFs and direct mail pieces.
Lloyd Motor Group marketing managers and Blumilk clients, Rebecca Sharpe and Emily Cunningham, were recently announced as winners of the coveted MINI Marketer of the Year award in the April this year.
MINI recognised its retail talent at the company’s 2017 awards. The 2017 MINI Retailer Awards, which took place on 23rd March, recognised the exceptional results from the dedicated teams and individuals throughout the brand’s 141-outlet UK retail network. The MINI marketer of the year award was presented in recognition of Lloyd MINI’s exceptional marketing activities throughout 2016.
In 2016, MINI UK sold 68,984 vehicles, its best annual sales performance since the brand’s launch in July 2001, representing an 8.5 per cent increase over 2015. MINI significantly outperformed the total new car market which grew by two per cent over the same period.
The event runs until the end of May across Lloyd branches of Newcastle, Carlisle, Cockermouth, Blackpool, South Lakes and Colne.
