More congratulations go to Port of Tyne. Cruise ship experts Fred Olsen Cruise Lines will base Balmoral, their 1350 bed flagship cruise liner, on the River Tyne for the summer season, 2016.
The Port is expecting a fantastic 30% growth in cruise ship traffic between 2015 and 2016. The spin off benefit from cruise traffic and ferry operations delivers an estimated £55million to the economy of North East England.
The Port of Tyne’s International Passenger Terminal is the base for a daily, all year round overnight roll-on, roll-off service to The Netherlands, operated by DFDS.
Blumilk has worked as a creative design partner of the Port for almost 10 years. Our work has included a rebranding of the company. This also involved work to upgrade the look and feel of the International Passenger Terminal, to enhance customer experience.
