Intelligent Branding that Decommissions the Norm

Blumilk have a track record for delivering fantastic brands that challenge expectations. That is exactly what we have done recently with UK decommissioning business, UK DECOM.

The company has set-up a collaboration with a consortium comprised of some of the biggest names in offshore solutions including; Modus, Houlder, OSL Consulting and Bourbon Marine & Logistics. They saw a gap in the market for a business that truly specialises in off shore decommissioning within the UK.

We were tasked to create a brand that both represented the company and had a unique styling to set them apart from everyone else in the offshore sector. That is exactly what we achieved with a confident brand that utilises a bold typeface paired with a bright pink and blue colour palette.

The identity is supported by the strapline “Intelligent Offshore Decommissioning”, we needed this to be straight talking and to the point.

Behind the identity, the brand personality uses the aforementioned colour palette and paired this with striking offshore photography to provide a contrast between the traditional and the contemporary.

For the soft launch of the brand we needed to create an on and offline presence, we achieved this by developing a unique and eye-catching website that gives a snapshot of their presence in the sector. We also supported the UK DECOM team with a vibrant sales brochure that has been used to gain interest face-to-face at industry events.

UK DECOM plan to have a full brand launch this summer, so watch this space.
