Blumilk’s Spencer Takes Podium Spot
June 9, 2017
He delivers when he needs to.
Nick Spencer from team Blumilk took second place at the second imann Trophy road cycling race sponsored by Blumilk, at Kirkley, Northumberland. He also took first place in his racing category.
Big congratulations though to first place Zeb Kyffin from team GS Metro. He blew away the strong field of 60 riders over the 6 laps, 68 miles course. And, finished a staggering full 30 seconds ahead of the pack. No wonder he won the race’s Most Combative Rider award.
The seven man Blumilk racing team were in great form. Not only did some great teamwork make sure Nick was propelled to that podium place, another 3 members of the team – Ian Norris, Ian Taylor and Richard Skinner – get into the top 20. Ian Norris always a strong finisher took 5th place with a big smile on his face.
The Blumilk team races this weekend in Yorkshire round a 56 mile course with a field of 80 riders.
