Podium Place for Blumilk In English Championships

Blumilk’s Ian Taylor achieves a podium place in British Cycling’s 2017 North East England Regional Championships. Ian was pipped to the post in a photo finish to the 53 miles race held in North Yorkshire on Sunday 20th August. Three riders crossed the line after a 2.5 hours race with less than a bike length between them.
Ian’s podium place ends a remarkable road race season for team Blumilk.com The team finished 6th in the overall team rankings for the season. Ian’s achievement brings the podium finishes for the team to four.
“It’s been a great year for the Team,” says George Robertson, Operations Director at Blumilk. George is also Team Blumilk.com’s race day support – bottle carrier, spare wheel carrier, shoulder to cry on and of course the person that gets the coffees and cakes for everyone at the end of each race.
“The guys in the Team are a great bunch”, adds George. “Great together, great friends, hard working and all in all a tribute to the sport. I’m always amazed how they will unselfishly work for each other in race after race. It’s no wonder to me that they’ve achieved their top 10 place in the British Cycling rankings. Together they bring a real passion to their racing.”
In between racing and 75 – 250 miles training each week, teamBlumilk.com riders can be found for example lecturing in University, repairing cars, selling cars, providing management consultancy services to businesses in need of help, ensuring the production process that makes chocolate bars is working right, even being the creative director for a design and marketing business.
