Miller UK came to us back in November 2016 to update their brand styling and imagery. The company was happy with their current logo but felt they needed to stand out from their competition.
Miller UK were founded in 1978 as a mobile welding and repair service for quarries, mines and open cast coal sites by their Chairman Keith Miller.
From both sites in the North of England and China, they operate on a global basis manufacturing a range of buckets, quick couplers and other attachments for the earthmoving industries as well as providing a custom built service which offers specialised and ‘one off’ products.
The construction industry is awash with blues and greys, with high visibility colours such as yellows finding their way into adverts and imagery. Alongside Miller, we decided to focus on the colour of their world renowned products, red. We used darker tones like burgundy to show the companies quality and to purposely stand out in what is predominately a marketplace full of primary colours. The brand styling and imagery creates real impact, making the brand have a global feel, represented the sizeable company that it is.
The brand styling and imagery was then used alongside adverts produced by Blumilk for trade journals. The new look was so popular that they chose to brand the office to keep a consistent customer experience. Large format signage and decals were designed and installed in the sales teams office alongside inspirational words.
Since then, Miller have taken the new brand styling and imagery over seas, recently exhibiting at DDT in Australia last month, to push the Miller brand down under. The products and brand styling and imagery was showcased on Marquee Banners, Pull Up Banners, Flags & Ground Level Tents that we produced for the company.
There was real positive feedback from the exhibition with plenty of leads generated! Next month they are exhibiting at Plantworx and will be giving the new product Hydraulic Mini Coupler a big push.
