Designing the Winning Formula in Education Branding

If you think back to January 2014, Steve McQueen’s historical tale ’12 Years a Slave’ won best film drama at the Golden Globes, US basketball star Dennis Rodman bizarrely sang Happy Birthday to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and York St. John’s University became one of our valued clients in Education.

Over the last two and a half years York St. John’s has seen student enrolment increase and is continuing to go from strength-to-strength in their recruitment drive. We are very proud to be part of that journey! We’ve worked with the University’s fabulous marketing department, designing everything from bus adverts that have looped around the city to a 180 page prospectus that went out to 25,000 potential students.

Education Branding

Our most notable success has been the ‘Press Play’ campaign which was originally featured in the 2015 undergraduate prospectus. The marketing team liked it that much that they rolled the campaign out across the full range of their literature and incorporated it into their regional and national student recruitment drive.

Continuing on and being apart of the education branding journey in York St. John’s growth strategy, we have just designed a spectrum of leaflets that aims to encourage applicants to choose York St John as their firm choice on UCAS applications.
